I am a retired engineer. My father was an English Lit professor and I grew up surrounded by literature, poetry, paintings and art. But I made my living with electronics, computers, networks, etc. Now I am walking more evenly in both of C. P. Snow’s culture paths. My intent is to walk in beauty, and to share the joys of this wonderful world.

My first pictures were taken before I was a teen with a simple roll film camera. My first SLR was bought on my first USCG trip through isolated islands in the central Pacific, a used Pentax Spotmatic I. Since my triplet’s have graduated from High School I have had more time for photography with. The world is filled with many interesting and fascinating places. I’d like to share some of them with the world.
